Good News First

Gothic woman in dark attire with a netted veil and lace umbrella, exuding mystery.

Hi! It me, the weirdo who does Thought Punks, Rev. I’m going to counseling school in the fall to get licensed. I’ve been doing mental health support work part-time the last few years and it’s an exciting new journey coming up!

Other good news: My vampire TTRPG (Vermillion Vespers), the moodiest vampyr game you could meet, hit Copper Bestseller status on DriveThruRPG! Put on your best black lipstick and grab your copy. Come home. The night missed you.

Keeping The Lights On

Both in my house and in my brain

I want to keep building that momentum, but I’ve hit a wall. Here’s the raw truth: (as some of you know) I struggled with trauma and neurological stuff pretty raw this winter and spring. When you’re fighting just to survive your own brain, the things in the shadows get a few free hits in. It’s been a rough time. I’m treading water in choppy waves, and losing steam fast. Reach a hand out and lift me up.

You’ve seen Vermillion Vespers and the SNAP! SRD. You know I got magic to share. But the blunt reality is that survival mode kills creativity. I needs my brain and life to have a little stability. Need enough breathing room to push the next releases out. You can help make that happen.

Your secret mission, should you accept it, is to help Rev live and maybe even thrive a little. Offer sacrifices for the hungry beast if you can (heavens know we all gotta wrestle with the capitalism demon). Share boldly and widely to help Rev reach the kind eyes to see this.

Primary Goals

Working way fewer hours for a few months to survive the winter really hurt. This is what I need to get stable again. Main goal: $0 / $1,295

  • Medical & Bills ($495): Gets me caught up to the point I stay compliant with my medical care and the lights/internet stay on. Pure survival.
  • Cracked Phone Replacement ($200): Looking at this phone or equivalent. Replacing my shattered screen with a reliable, affordable brick that will last.
  • Mobility Restoration ($400): Getting to school and appointments requires my e-bike to actually function. This covers fresh tires, slime tubes, new brakes, and a full tune-up.
  • Clothing ($200): A dedicated thrift-store run for professional clothes so I can show up to counseling school looking the part.

I need to hit the primary $1,295 goal in the next 14–28 days so I can get stable and get back on my work hours before summer prep for fall counseling school starts.

Secondary Goals

What would get me from “barely surviving” to actual good footing. Second goal: $0 / $1,170

  • Full Bills ($620): Actually (mostly) wiping out the backlog of bills instead of just  eternally delaying them (and eating more and more fees).
  • Mobility Boost ($350): Battery replacement/upgrade for the bike. Current battery only charges to about 65%, which means cells are dying. Replacing it ensures I don’t get stranded between appointments.
  • More Clothes ($200): My wardrobe is real ratty and I could use shoes too. A reasonable thrift run goes a long way here.

“Nice” Goals

Some of you have yelled at me to ask for something nice, especially since we missed my birthday just a couple weeks ago. Honestly, survival is the priority right now. The best gift I can receive is a night of sleep where I’m not worried about staying afloat.

Final Words

This isn’t just keeping the lights on. This is loading the next chapter.

Hit primary and I get caught up on medical care, a working phone, a reliable e-bike, and clothes that let me walk into counseling school looking like the professional I’m becoming. Hit secondary and the bill backlog and less to bleed me dry every month.

Either way, I get to keep making the moody and weird games you love while getting ready for training to help people.

The night missed you. Help me keep the fire lit so I can keep inviting you back into it.

Drop coins if you can. And share this far and wide! Your group chat, your Discord, your Bluesky, your table. Every single signal boost is another stake through the heart of the undead beast of capitalism draining me.

P.S. Why Not Throne (or such)?

Because Throne and other gifting sites stopped accepting Amazon and general store links. If I input links now that would have worked before, they’re all converted to cash out. So it’s just paying Throne or an equivalent to host my wishlist and I still pay all the fees on the money and have to order myself plus pay them fees. Which seems… silly. Simple as that, tbh.
